Maintenance Technician
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: To perform routine maintenance and repair work in the building, mechanical or electrical trades, or to assist a skilled worker in their performance at a large state institution or building; and to do related work as required. The position is initially located at the Warwick campus. The days ad hours are usually Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm, but the days, hours, and campus may vary depending on the needs of the department.SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Receives general instructions from a superior as to tasks to be performed; makes own decisions as to methods to be used to effect the required repairs; when working with a skilled tradesperson, receives detailed instructions; work is reviewed on completion f
