Medical and Vision Insurance
SCCA employees may choose between a preferred-provider plan (Premera Blue Cross) and a point-of-service plan (Alliant Plus) for themselves and their families.
Dental Insurance
SCCA employees may choose between two plans offered through Washington Dental Service (WDS). The WDS network includes approximately 90 percent of the dentists in Washington State.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees can save money on eligible health and dependent care expenses through flexible spending accounts; deductions for these accounts are made on a pre-tax basis.

403(b) Retirement Savings Plan

Vacations
Employees accrue 12 days of vacation during the first year of employment. Subsequently, they accrue an additional day per year until they reach the maximum accrual of 22 days per year. Accrual rate is pro-rated for part-time employees.
Salary Continuance (Sick Leave)
Employees are eligible for salary continuance after 30 days of employment. Under this plan, employees will accrue eight hours of sick leave per month (pro-rated for part-time) for time off due to illness or injury.
Holidays and Personal Days
Twelve paid holidays; 10 holidays are generally scheduled with the remaining given as personal days.
Transportation
SCCA provides a subsidized annual transportation pass for use on Metro, Community Transit, Pierce Transit, Sound Transit and Metro vanpools. Reduced parking costs for vanpools and carpools are available.
Staff Events Program
SCCA recognizes that work in the healthcare industry can sometimes be demanding and stressful, especially in a field that requires employees to care for those facing cancer. For this reason, a staff events program was created to provide an outlet for staff to relax, have fun, enjoy quality time with family and friends, and receive items and services for free or at a discounted rate.
