Internal Number: 108942 The Fellowship Director reports immediately to the Director of the Division of REI and ultimately to the Chair of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Job responsibilities include patient care, teaching and research. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and directly responsible for development, maintenance, and improvement of the fellows' curriculum. Will work closely with the fellowship coordinator and will ultimately be responsible for ensuring that ACGME, ABOG, and other deadlines are met and accreditation of the fellowship is maintained. Meet regularly with the fellows to provide feedback and guidance. The candidate will enhance the capacity of the division to provide the full spectrum of patient care in subspecialty practice, including but not limited to: operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, laser surgery, microsurgery, in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other ART procedures. Continue to follow existing gynecology patients and menopausal patients. Will have six clinical sessions per week (60% effort) for patient care which may include satellite sessions; will cover night and weekend call as assigned in the division rotation with other division members; recruit and contribute patients to divisional research projects. The successful candidate will also participate in clinical and didactic teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students; observe and report upon the clinical skills of fellows, residents, and medical students; participate in REI conferences; assist in the enhancement of the teaching curriculum within the Division. Participate in division research projects with the mission of adding to the body of knowledge regarding reproductive medicine and infertility.
