Provide analytical and technical assistance to the faculty and staff of UNCG in the use of information technology. Responsibilities and duties include the following:
Independently troubleshoots and maintains AV equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, projectors, PCs, switching equipment, and intercom systems – 50%

• Install AV equipment primarily used in classroom and conference rooms located throughout campus. This includes, but is not limited to: projectors, PCs, switching equipment, and intercom systems – 30%
• This position has the responsibility of troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing computer hardware and peripheral devices located in classrooms and conference rooms on campus – 15%
• Other duties as assigned – 5%

An Associate’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Technology Integration, Networking Technology, or related area and one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role: or a Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role: or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
