Graduate Research Assistant
GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator the Graduate Research Assistant will be working on a research project to combine the functional MRI with optogenetics and simultaneous optical fiber-mediated biosensor recordings in both rats and mice. In addition, an essential part of this project will be to develop a robust awake mouse fMRI platform for high spatiotemporal resolution fMRI brain mapping. The eligible candidate will need to perform the MRI image analysis using the Linux-based software and Matlab.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform awake mouse training for fMRI.Prepare the transgenic mouse lines with GCaMP or ChR2 expression Monitor the pupil dynamics changes of mice
