Responsible for the management of all private educational loans including certification with lender, awarding, disbursement, and reconciliation. Work closely with the Billing and Finance Offices to insure cash receipts are credited to the student accounts and reconciled appropriately. Act as a liaison between student loan recipients and private lenders to troubleshoot issues and concerns. Document all institutional policies and procedures with regards to loan processing. Collaborate with ECMC for default management. Develop and execute debt counseling sessions. Work with Financial Aid system staff and outside agencies to ensure changes and updates are reflected in system within regulations. Responsible for Direct Loan changes.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree- 3-5 years experience working in the financial aid field with strong understanding of federal and state financial aid according to title IV regulations.Preferred Qualifications:- Proficiency with Edconnect, Banner, Automic and Campus logic systems strongly preferred.
