OPERATIONS COORDINATOR , Sloan School of Management , to manage the strategic work related to marketing operations, recruiting activities, applicant evaluation, and the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office for the MBA, Early MBA, Sloan Fellows MBA (SFMBA), Master of Business Analytics (MBAn), Master of Finance (MFin), and MSMS programs. Responsibilities will include managing event logistics either in person or using a virtual platform such as Slate or Zoom; processing and troubleshooting application-related issues with the applicants and recommenders; managing and ensuring the integrity of applicant and student data; overseeing the logistics of scheduling interviews; providing customer service to all applicants and prospective students; serving as the lead contact for admitted students and managing the enrollment process; developing innovative solutions where precedents or procedures may not exist to improve departmental strategy and operations; and training team members on the use and best practices of the Slate CRM, Zoom, and other platforms.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree and at least two years' administrative and/or project/program management experience. PREFERRED : discretion and judgment with confidential information/issues; proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, a CMS (WordPress, Ektron) and CRM (Slate), and the Technolutions Slate suite of products, SharePoint, and Qualtrics; demonstrated customer service skills; appreciation of diverse cultures and backgrounds and ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of constituencies; initiative; attention to detail; excellent organizational, customer service, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; comfort functioning equally as an initiator, facilitator and/or implementer; and the ability to multitask, setting priorities, meet deadlines, work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment in a flat organization, and promote the values of MIT.
