Admissions Counselor - Undergraduate Admissions, School of Arts and Sciences - (20001391)
The Office of Admissions recruits, selects and enrolls the University's undergraduate student body in the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering and coordinates outreach and application processing for the graduate programs in both schools.
The Admissions Counselor works with a professional Admissions team to fulfill the enrollment objectives set by the Dean for the school. S/he reads and evaluates applications for admission, participates in the selection process and serves on selection committee, conducts group information sessions for prospective students and represents the university at schools and college fairs during travel to assigned geographic recruitment territory. This individual assists the Assistant and/or Associate Director with communications efforts/initiatives such as overseeing the development and production of print publications, writing and editing content for web/social/print, and co-managing a student communications group.
Bachelor's Degree and up to 2 years of related experience as a student employee or professional in a secondary school or institution of higher education.
