SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE , Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL)-North America , to provide complex and diverse administrative support for the executive director and the associate director of policy for the J-PAL North America office. This will include providing advanced administrative support and coordination across J-PAL North America's multiple programs and projects. Responsibilities will include developing in-depth understanding of J-PAL North America's work areas in order to respond to complex inquiries from a range of external stakeholders and staff, conducting research as necessary to ensure inquiries are addressed and resolved; scheduling diverse and complex appointments and meetings, accommodating multiple calendars and competing priorities; planning and organizing internal and external meetings and events; scheduling diverse and complex travel arrangements for multiple constituents; attending and taking detailed notes at meetings; anticipating and initiating actions regarding daily office operations; and contributing to strategy development for coordination of research projects.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : a high school diploma or its equivalent; five years of administrative experience (relevant experience gained through college-level coursework, internships, part-time work, or volunteer experience may be counted towards experience requirement); excellent project management and oral and written communication skills; and meticulous attention to detail. Must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with other members of the team; maintain confidentiality; and successfully manage relations with donors, partners, researchers, and staff at all levels.
