A teaching assignment will commonly include both lecture and lab sections in the fall or spring semesters. Courses are not typically taught during the summer.Total class contact time will be 3 hours for the lecture and 1 hours for the lab, as applicable to the class (not all classes have lab sections). Adjuncts are also expected to hold office hours during the week for at least 2 hours (for example, half an hour before and after each class, if the class meets twice a week).Requirements:Master's degree required; Ph.D. preferred.Teaching experience is preferred, at either the college or high school level.Additional Information:Applications will be accepted continuously into the pool and will be drawn upon to fill vacancies as they become available.
