The Senior PeopleSoft Benefits Systems Analyst will be part of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team and be responsible for:
PeopleSoft Benefits configuration and support.
Day-to-day Benefits Administration (BenAdmin) processing of event maintenance events.
Benefits self-service functionality.
Open Enrollment processing and event coordination.
Supporting Benefits vendor interfaces.
Researching and identifing system requirements. Creates functional specifications and develops application design. Creates and executes test plans and ensures that the implemented solutions meet requirements.
Working with IS Department to implement system changes.
Participating in auditing as well as testing and validating system changes.
Developing and completes a variety of informational reports using a variety of data management software programs.
Working with IS and Benefits Departments, among others, in order to maintain PeopleSoft and install changes, PUM upgrades and new programs.
To qualify, you must have:
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and seven to ten years' experience.
Work requires the analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of programming skills, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth, experienced based cross functional knowledge.
Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, facilitating group information needs and translating those needs into specifications that outline data system requirements.
Work requires familiarity with information system capabilities and trends, in particular local area networks and a working knowledge of PeopleSoft Benefits Modules.
Work requires knowledge of PCs, operating systems (DOS/OS), back up, storage, windows applications, and the ability to troubleshoot PC problems.
Work requires the ability to train staff in how to use applications, modules or specific screens.
Preference for knowledge to read and write SQL, as well as PeopleCode.
