The Assistant Director will help Boston University Financial Assistance achieve BU's goals for recruitment, retention and superior service by assisting students in financing their education through financial analysis, planning and advisement. This position will be the primary contact for undergraduate students in BUs Metropolitan College. This position will evaluate, analyze and process detailed confidential reports to determine student eligibility for financial assistance using both federal and institutional methodology.
In order to be considered for this position, a cover letter must be included in your application materials. A bachelors degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience are required. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, effective problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Additionally, candidates should possess a working knowledge of federal and state financial aid policies, procedures, and regulations.
