TECHNICIAN C ELECTRO-MECHANICAL (E-M) , Plasma Science and Fusion Center (PSFC) , to perform various routine jobs of a skilled or semi-skilled nature, such as chassis wiring, keeping apparatus in good condition, and performing laboratory tests and analyses. Wil--under supervision--work as a technician in support of many hardware systems that are currently being developed or already operating, help with transfers of liquid helium, and attend experimental runs and help to take data.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : willingness to learn and the ability to problem solve. PREFERRED : some college coursework; and familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and tools (e.g., soldering irons, drills, microscopes, and oscilloscopes). Job #18299
