STUDENT SUCCESS AND WELLBEING ADMINISTRATOR , Office of Engineering Outreach Programs , to collaborate with program staff and leadership to help OEOP's high-achieving 7-12th grade students thrive (personally, socially, and academically) and transition through its rigorous, STEM-focused programs and into college. Will meet individually with students on personal and academic issues; create, implement, and advise on protocols/programs/procedures to address student support needs and concerns; provide general guidance and advice for academic and career planning; provide resources and referrals for appropriate services, including mental health/wellbeing; provide training and guidance to instructional and residential staff related to fostering an inclusive, healthy, safe, and supportive environment for community members; implement program activities through coaching, training, workshop facilitation, and program-wide communications; and assist in crisis situations to assess student wellbeing and determine appropriate referral or resource.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field; at least three years' professional clinical/counseling experience providing support to young to middle adolescents and their families; excellent organizational, time-management, listening, interpersonal, facilitation, and written and oral communication skills; comfort speaking to large and small groups; strong Microsoft Office skills, including experience with Excel and cloud-based collaboration (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox); good judgment with confidential information/issues; desire to partner with families and students; and ability to multitask and collaborate with a diverse team in a fast-paced, high-pressure, dynamic environment. Seek someone with experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds who understands and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, including supporting students with intersecting marginalized identities. Must be able to work a varying schedule with some weekend and evening hours during program operation. This is a one-year appointment that may be eligible for renewal contingent upon available funding.
