As a part of the access services staff at the Science & Engineering Library, the incumbent provides circulation, interlibrary loan, and basic reference services. Make appropriate decisions about policies and procedures, assist in training and assign tasks to student employees, oversee interactions with patrons, answer or refer reference questions to the appropriate librarians, and manage the facility. Conduct circulation functions including checking out book and reserve items, and resolving issues with fines and missing items. Staff the service desks during assigned periods. As needed, process library materials, and open or close the library. Hours are Sunday-Thursday, 4:30 pm - 12:00 midnight. Summer and holiday hours may vary.
B.A./B.S., one to three years at an academic library.
