The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for the daily management of the Office of Experiential Learning (OEL) project development pipelines, working closely with senior management and faculty to follow up on newly developed leads, maintain existing client relationships, and align expectations and messaging within the marketing/outreach and customer relationship management process. The Senior Relationship Manager will work with appropriate stakeholders across the College to recruit a diverse portfolio of project opportunities for all student consulting programs. As a Babson Ambassador for Experiential Learning (EL), the Senior Relationship Manager will have an outward facing role to recruit and build partner organization relationships, understand the competitive landscape of EL, and enhance the achievement of the office's mission and goals.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as Babson ambassador of Experiential Learning; responsible for recruiting sponsor partner organizations by proactively meeting with organizations to build long term relationships when appropriate. Serve as point for referral management with stakeholders such as Alumni & Friends, Grad CCD, Babson Executive Education, faculty, and others. Provide follow through in a timely manner and update relationship management data base regularly. Utilize database reporting functions to reinforce outreach strategy and present findings to key stakeholders.
Maintain, further develop existing, and follow up on potential new industry relationships through management of the CEL prospective client pipeline to ensure ongoing opportunities for graduate students, advance experiential learning activities, and identify and cultivate new opportunities for partnerships and projects as needed.
Where appropriate, partner with both Undergraduate and Graduate Centers for Career Development (CCD) in efforts to increase EL awareness; attend joint visits with partner organizations, serve as point describing EL opportunities and deliver all necessary follow up communications to appropriate parties.
Collaborate with Grad CCD to learn of employment trends and ensure that projects reflect MBA level work and student interests (when possible); enhance the possibility for student “career marketability” and talent sources for internships or full time opportunities.
In partnership with the Director and Faculty Directors of EL, serve as point to understand the EL competitive landscape and differentiators
OEL Programmatic Marketing
Oversee internal and external marketing communications and tools including the OEL website and social media outreach and strategy, and sample library of work; determine themes, messages, and publications that meet communications goals.
Partner with College Marketing in the creation of marketing collaterals and social media opportunities to promote experiential learning to current and future students, partner organizations, and the larger Babson community.
Program Management & Assessment
Collaborate and serve as point with faculty advisors to determine selection of partner organization projects and creation of student teams. Orchestrate efficient selection process and capture critical data to ensure success.
Support OEL Director in the development and management of a student consulting intensity track.
Responsible for developing the tools and systems necessary to ensure objective alignment, tracking of project histories, and ongoing communication and outreach. Use these tools and systems to identify trends and utilize metrics resulting from student and company surveys, EL's customized data base, and external data points to drive future improvements. Communicate trends with all appropriate parties to align with best practices and Director's vision.

Minimum Level of Education Required Bachelor's Degree
Position Knowledge/Skills & Abilities Requirements:
At least 7-9 years of progressive relationship management experience.
Successful business development experience; attracting new relationships and enhancing existing relationship; understanding of client relationship best practices.
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
Ability to make independent decisions.
Ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally.
Experience with operational standards, project and metrics management and reporting.
Strong technology skills, must be proficient in Microsoft, Excel and PowerPoint as well as CRM management.
Team player and collaborative.
Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.

Additional Experience, Skills & Abilities:
Familiarity with an academic institution and/or experiential learning are a plus.
Experience with diverse industries/partner organizations a plus.
