Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Research Administration, the Research Administrator will serve as an expert resource for all SPH departments and programs on all matters related to proposal submission, financial compliance, and reporting. They will be deployed to provide hands on support during departmental grants management vacancies and/or peak times. Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Advancement and the Assistant Dean for Research Administration, the Senior Research Administrator will work closely with them to manage and oversee all of Central SPH research policies and school-level transactions. They will be responsible to review school-level reports for all department related issues to identify and resolve problems through the award lifecycle. This position requires expertise on a broad range of sponsored funding knowledge and experience in support of a portfolio of school-level and departmental research programs. The position requires familiarity with federal regulations and compliance.
-Handles all grants for central administration and supporting individual departmental needs in a back-up capacity
-Departmental Assistance Deployed to provide hands-on support during departmental grants management vacancies and/or peak times.
-SPH Central Assistance by providing support and work together with the Assistant Dean, Research Administration in the management and oversight of central SPH research policies and school-level transactions.
-Review and trouble shoot school-level reports for department-related issues. Monitor proposal submission schedules and OSP deadline reports. Individual project rate-of-spending issues Health of the Award. Closeout issues; over expenditures
Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of work experience required.
