The Office Manager is responsible for managing key HR, procurement, financial and administrative functions for the Animal Science Center (ASC), which includes a total of approximately 75 employees. The specific duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, assigning work to administrative staff, overseeing the processing of invoices, the purchasing of supplies and the monitoring of spending. This position supports the Assistant Director for Finance/Administration and management levels within ASC and serves as the interface for human resource matters for employee on/off-boarding and security administration. This position is also responsible for maintaining vendor service contracts, overseeing office equipment inventory (phones, etc), processing permits, assisting in SOP maintenance and oversight of the website. The Office Manager is responsible for the creation and maintenance of key departmental documentation and coordinates student employee schedules.
Minimum 3 years experience with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Bachelors degree required.
