The Health Sciences Department of Worcester State University is seeking outstanding candidate for its adjuncts faculty positions to teach 3-9 credits as needed. The Health Sciences Department offers a Master in Health Education, a BS in Public Health and in Health Education, minors in Health and Fitness and in Public Health, and a concentration in Public Health and Social Justice. Worcester State University offers a vibrant teaching and learning environment and a wealth of opportunities for inter-disciplinary engagement and campus involvement.
A successful candidate will have earned an MPH, Master of Health Science, Master in related fields, or a terminal degree (MD, PhD, Dr.PH, ScD) in a related field.
The candidate must demonstrate evidence of successful college teaching in one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Public Health, Introduction to Global Health, Introduction to Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Fitness for life, Drugs and Society, Consumer Health, Mental Health Education and Human Sexuality and Sex Education.
