The Academic Assistant for the School of Physical Theray supports the faculty and the Program Director/Deans of two programs with academic support for curricular and/or school s, including research and database management and preparations for examinations (using ExamSoft, Scantron device or other software). The Academic Assistant may also provide support to the Program in the planning and execution of Program curriculum activities, committee and service-related work, and faculty scholarly work.Responsibilities: Develop and manage School databases including data entry and production of reports Provide assistance with examination preparation, including uploading questions and copying exams throughout the semester, process examinations that utilize Scantron using Parscore as needed. Prepare and process tests, surveys, and other forms of School evaluations, including data analysis, using Qualtrics, ExamSoft, Scantron and other programs. Assist with training faculty and other staff on new processes (ie ExamSoft, Qualtrics), and troubleshooting ExamSoft issues. Assists in the technical aspects of preparation, dissemination and analysis of materials under the guidance of faculty and/or Program Director (e.g. course, committee and accreditation materials, etc.). Prepare typed reports, meeting minutes, memorandums, correspondence from the School using appropriate writing levels Provide support for faculty and adjunct faculty within the School Assist in the preparation and submission of grant applications and other scholarly works. Assist with faculty scholarly activities, including data collection, extraction and other responsibilities as needed. Maintain a professional work environment.
