SOFTWARE DEVELOPER , Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) , to play a key role in the evolution, operation, and educational research use of MIT App Inventor. MIT App Inventor is a project that allows beginning students and others without programming experience to create mobile applications for Android devices (and soon iOS). Responsibilities include developing and testing major platform components by working with the development and project teams to identify needed applications and improvements; developing new components and extensions for App Inventor as needed; helping support and communicate with researchers and educators using App Inventor; making public presentations about the App Inventor team's work; supervising MIT students; and interacting with leaders in the educational technology community.
