The High Energy Theory Group in the Department of Physics anticipates a position in theoretical high-energy physics to be available as of September 1, 2020. This position will be at the level of Postdoctoral Research Associate with a Ph. D. degree in physics or appropriately related discipline. The appointment would be for one year, with the anticipation of renewal for a second, plus additional years based on performance and funding. Members of the group are Profs. JiJi Fan, Antal Jevicki, David Lowe, Marcus Spradlin, Chung-I Tan and Anastasia Volovich.
Applicants, through their lists of publications, CV’s and three letters of recommendations, should demonstrate superior research abilities in the area of theoretical high energy physics. Candidates are invited to address inquires (including curriculum vitae and list of publications) and to arrange for three letters of reference to be submitted via interfolio by December 15, 2019 for full consideration, though the position will remain open until filled or closed.
