The Manager of Peer Engagement will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing a variety of informational/educational programs, events, and services delivered to Boston University students by the paraprofessional CCD/ERC Student Ambassador workforce (approximately 12-16 students annually), utilizing the resources of the Educational Resource Center (ERC) and the Center for Career Development (CCD). The Manager supervises the Peer Engagement Coordinator, and supports that person in hiring, training, managing, and mentoring the Student Ambassadors in order for that workforce to engage successfully with BU students in a peer-to-peer delivery model, to encourage participation in CCD/ERC programs & events, and to utilize a variety of CCD/ERC services. In conjunction with the Peer Engagement Coordinator, the Manager of Peer Engagement will oversee Student Ambassador delivery of CCD/ERC services to students, and their participation in CCD/ERC events and programming. The Manager will also collaborate regularly with CCD and ERC professional staff and other BU colleagues regarding content and techniques in order to design, develop, and deliver effective training to the Student Ambassador workforce. The Manager will actively participate in the promotion and delivery of those programs, events, and services while training, mentoring, and coaching the Student Ambassador workforce, to ensure their successful participation. This position reports to the Sr. Associate Director of the Center for Career Development with cross-functional reporting to the Associate Director of the Educational Resource Center.

Regular participation in CCD/ERC programs and events held at the Yawkey Center for Student Services and across campus on evenings and weekends, and adaptability to a flexible work schedule are requirements of this position.
