The Office of Academic Affairs oversees the Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine program. This office is responsible for the preclinical and clinical curriculum, teaching spaces within the school, and students (Student Affairs).
Curriculum Coordinator: Work closely with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs on curriculum maintenance and a curriculum redesign process that is expected to take five years as the school progresses through the design phase, development of an implementation plan, and implementation of the new curriculum. The curriculum coordinator serves as a resource on the curriculum for meetings with faculty, students, and alumni, and must be able to synthesize and add new information to design or implementation plans. Curriculum mapping: Incorporate new information and revisions into a curriculum database and map learning objectives to American Veterinary Medical Association competencies; conduct individual meetings with course directors and key faculty to review information. Prepare materials for Council on Education annual reports and Academic Affairs handbooks. Faculty development in teaching: Coordinate short course offerings in the area of teaching for faculty. Curriculum committee: Attend monthly meetings, provide requested information, and write minutes.
* Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience * Experience with advanced Microsoft Office Suite including word processing, editing and graphics functions, spreadsheet and database knowledge. In addition, bookkeeping or basic accounting knowledge. * Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
