The Business & Market Intelligence Analyst, reporting to the Director, Program Initiatives & Assessment, will work extensively with data and be responsible for developing reports, data models, and conducting analyses to inform the strategic decision making of the Questrom School of Business. The Analyst will be responsible for gathering data from multiple systems, seek external data where needed, and integrate various data sources to facilitate analysis. The Analyst will also be responsible for the engagement of external data sources to inform demand forecasting and market analysis for new or changing academic programs. Where external data sources are not sufficient, the Analyst will assist in the creation of new instruments to conduct primary research. The Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of Questrom dashboards, ensuring data validity and functionality. The Analyst will also lead the creation of enhanced data visualizations for use in dashboards, reports, and presentations.

Bachelor's degree required and three to five years of related work experience.
Ability to design and create reports to summarize aggregate data that are visually attractive and easy to understand, demonstrated ability to appropriately use descriptive and analytic statistics, knowledgeable with office software, data analysis software, academic management platforms, survey administration software, and web-based enterprise systems, and a willingness/ability to learn new software.
Ability to think critically about data sets, understand limitations, assist in the interpretation of results, and leverage appropriate modeling.
Understanding of PowerBI or similar business intelligence software is strongly preferred.
Additional awareness of analytical tools such as R or SPSS is helpful.
Strong attention to detail.
