The Program Manager for doctoral professional development is responsible for developing professional development content and programming tailored to doctoral students across both the Charles River and Medical Campuses. This position will support the expansion of programming offered by Professional Development & Postdoctoral Affairs to create new offerings for graduate students. The Program Manager will work with stakeholders across the University to coordinate professional development initiatives and minimize duplication of efforts, as well as identify graduate student skill needs. They will also work collaboratively with the Assistant Provost of Professional Development & Postdoctoral Affairs and BU faculty to backward design, create content for, and implement new workshops and short courses.
Doctoral degree required.
Position requires strong teaching and facilitation skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across many diverse disciplines and backgrounds. Experience designing curriculum is desired. The position requires proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe suite. Employee must have strong organization, writing, and interpersonal skills, and an ability to thrive in a complex environment.
