This position is housed within the Genetics Data Management Group (GDMG) at the Framingham Heart Study (FHS). The employee will work under the direct guidance and supervision of the GDMG manager. Primary responsibility of this position is to assist the manager in day to day operations. This mainly includes assisting with data requests, including tracking of permissions and payment (where applicable), as well as preparation, update, consent restriction, and delivery of all phenotypic data sets to the NIH and FHS Service center clients. Depending upon the applicants ability, processing of genomic data, including next-generation sequencing and proteomic and metabolomics of varying complexity would also be performed.
Ability to work in SAS an IT53 is required. Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience required, Master's degree preferred.
