Research in computational and theoretical modeling of microstructural evolution using state-of-the-art phase-field and phase-field-crystal methods. Research will include development of parallel codes and their implementation using message passing interface or/and cuda-enabled graphic processing units.
Must have PhD in Physics and at least one year of postdoctoral research experience in computational materials science to be able to undertake substantially full-time research under the supervision of a senior scholar.
