Serving as an integral member of the President's support team, the Briefing/Administrative Coordinator is responsible for collecting and preparing materials for the President's daily briefing book. Briefings include, but are not limited to, talking points (meetings and public events), financial data, historical background, proposals, tenure dossiers, and detailed travel itineraries. The deadline-based nature of this particular function requires an individual who is able to prioritize the tasks at hand, to have many balls in the air at the same time, and to be able to plan ahead while keeping focus on the details for the immediate engagements. The Briefing/Administrative Coordinator also is responsible for filing and keeping a complete record of the briefing books, as well as monitoring and tracking upcoming speaking engagement and other events on the President's schedule.
In addition, the incumbent will provide support to the correspondence team of the President's office and may on occasion cover for the President's Executive Assistant. The Briefing/Administrative Coordinator may also be assigned to work on special projects within the Office for the President as they arise.

Candidates MUST meet the following basic qualifications in order to be considered for this role:
A minimum of three years of progressive administrative and/or project coordination experience. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook), and Google suite of programs (Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Calendar) required. Education beyond high school may be applied toward years of experience.

Bachelors' degree strongly preferred. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. High level of discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Ability to interact with all levels of the University and beyond. Dedicated team player with strong customer service orientation. Ability to work overtime as needed.
This is a 40-hour per week, non-exempt, confidential (excluded from union) position. Hours are 9 a.m. – 6 pm. M-F
