The School of Social Work has thriving BSW and MSW program. Current total enrollment is approximately 550. Our programs are staffed by 16 full time faculty, more than 15 part time faculty, three field education specialists and two administrators. Our programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
Essential duties are:
1. Teaching up to 11 credits per semester as assigned by the School of Social Work chairperson.
Applicants should possess: – Ability to effectively teach in a close, collegial environment dedicated to the teaching-learning relationship. – Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and to working in a environment that fosters diversity, equity and inclusion. – Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning. – Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading. – Provide course syllabi to students and to the School of Social Work as requested. – Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.
Courses may be conducted on any of BSU's three campuses; the main campus in Bridgewater and at BSU's satellite campuses in Attleboro and on Cape Cod.
Required qualifications are:
1. A master’s degree in social work or a related field
1. MSW degree and LICSW 2. Teaching experience in a BSW or MSW program
