The Media and Screen Studies Program in the Communication Department at Northeastern University invites applications for a one-year non-tenure-track position as a Visiting Lecturer. We seek a dynamic instructor prepared to teach some combination of the following courses: Digital Media Culture, Gender and Film, Global Media, Media and Identity, Media and Social Change, Media History, Theories of Media and Culture, and Understanding Media and Film.
To be considered, candidates must have: (1) A Ph.D. in an appropriate field, (2) three years of undergraduate teaching experience, and (3) documented evidence of teaching effectiveness. This position carries a 3-3 teaching load with the possibility of teaching summer classes for extra compensation.
