Research is particularly focused on how this signaling network is integrated with metabolic networks to control cell growth and systemic nutrient metabolism. Ongoing studies employ genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, and animal models combined with unbiased systems-level tools, including genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and bioinformatics.
