Under general supervision, greets patients, inputs and/or verifies patient information, responds to patient inquiries, and schedules/confirms appointments. May perform financial functions (collects payment, conducts daily batch reconciliation) and provides administrative support. Performs other related duties to assist in the management of the department. Display strong customer service skills. Working effectively with faculty, students, residents and other clinical staff to ensure a positive smooth operation of the clinic. Keeping a professional appearance, staying focused on responsibilities and setting a positive tone with all you assist daily. Having the ability to meet the needs of the students while staying with in the policies of the clinic. Demonstrate the clinical values of Mutual Respect, Patient Centered, Safety, Responsible and Continuous Improvement. Work to support the clinic mission daily.
Requires a High School degree/GED and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Also requires basic knowledge of dental and coding terminology
