Are you a Certified American Red Cross Lifeguard?
We need you! $12/hour work shifts are available days, nights, and during the weekend until May 31. Early Morning, Daytime, Evening and Weekend hours available.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Perform primary and secondary lifeguard responsibilities during normal pool operation hours.
Maintain the safety of the patrons in and around the pool.
Opening and/or closing facility.
Communicate and enforce all regulations and pool rules in a personable and professional manner.
Communicate any potentially dangerous elements of the facility.
Test the water, record results in black or blue ink, and report imbalances to the supervisor.
Set up the pool for various activities such as laps, classes, etc.
Be able to respond to an emergency and contact/activate EMS.
Do you want to teach kids how to swim?
Swim instructors (no certification required) needed to teach children basic swimming skills at $12/hour. Instructors must be available during the 4-week sessions from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday's and Wednesday's until May 31 with an extra stipend for instructors who complete the entire swim lesson session.
ARC Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required. WSI preferred but not required. Min 1 year Lifeguard experience preferred.
Excellent organizational, team, and communication skills.
Minimum age of 18 years old.
Physical ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
