The Warehouse Operator 2 will work under general supervision, and perform warehouse functions out of a central location or smaller specialized facilities. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, issuing, ordering supplies, filling supply orders, pricing supply orders and delivering supply orders; tag equipment and process surplus for disposal; store and process materials for HazMat processing; and other materials/equipment as required. Position may require the operation of material handling equipment to include forklifts, light trucks, and delivery carts.
This is a full time non-permanent position and expected to end on 07/01/2019.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL DUTIES
Receive, process, deliver parcel, packages, equipment, surplus, furnishings, shredding records and other items associated with internal and external customer needs
Operate related equipment including pallet jacks,electric stackers,hand trucks, forklift and electric motorized carts
Operate pickup, panel and light trucks up to one-ton capacity
Perform all functions associated with the operation of the stores program including filling orders, ordering product, stocking shelves, entering data, conducting inventories, etc.
Perform functions required in the tagging, recording, and entry of equipment needing to be tagged in compliance with OFM guidelines
Conduct physical inventory, prepare and maintain perpetual inventory, maintain records, correspondence and other files as required
Perform, under direction, redistribution or disposal of surplus or excess property in accordance with OFM guidelines
Prepare materials for pickup or shipping as required
Perform duties involved in maintenance, arrangement and cleanliness of the warehouse/worksite and its equipment
Perform related duties as required
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of experience or training involving warehouse operations or equivalent education/experience in a related field
Physical ability to do required work, lift a minimum of 50 pounds
A valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain one upon employment
Ability to operate a fork lift
Intermediate knowledge of computer systems including email, Word, and Excel
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a working environment that is subject to daily changes in priorities
Ability to work in an area that has dust, cold temperatures, and limited space
Ability to work ten (10) feet in height
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
