The Providence VA Medical Center and the Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute which includes Rhode Island, Miriam and Newport Hospitals, are seeking an academic cardiologist to join the Department of Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The successful candidate will serve as staff cardiologist at the Providence VAMC and at the Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute.
The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Brown University. Minimum requirements include: medical licensure, board certification in Internal Medicine and eligibility in Cardiology; strong clinical background in internal medicine, general cardiology, and echocardiography; excellence in patient care and teaching; and a commitment to develop an independent research program.
